“the viiictory of the peeeople”: the words sung out, the very words that capture the whole spirit of the Historical Carnival of Ivrea, stand out as if written by hand, along with the third verse of the Carnival Anthem, against a bright, crackling scarlo.
For the 2015 edition of the Historical Carnival of Ivrea, it was decided to have the image created by members of the Foundation, following the theme of the Carnival Anthem introduced last year. Consisting of four verses, it is the third one that gives life to a choral manifesto, where the voice becomes louder, stronger and more determined. So here we find the scarlo that blazes and the anthem spelled out in writing, accompanied by the sound of pipes and drums.
An intense, expressive manifesto… belonging to the people, that bears the signature of the person who created the 2014 image, Matteo Pont (designboumaka.it).
A collector’s manifesto, the second of a line begun in 2014 and that will continue in the next editions to depict all the verses of our beloved Carnival Anthem.
